Admission process, step by step
The standard flow used by UGC-entitled online universities. Your counsellor handles the paperwork with you; you pay the university directly.

Counselling & course selection – check eligibility (marks, subject, work-experience) against the university tab.

Collect soft-copy documents (see Documents Checklist) and pre-verify names/DOB/marks match across documents.

Register on university portal / partner ERP, fill application (personal, academic, work details), pay registration/application fee.
Student (assisted) · Same day

Upload documents; pay first semester / annual / full fee (or choose No-cost EMI / loan partner).

University verifies documents; provisional admission letter issued; enrollment / roll number generated.
University · 2–7 working days

LMS credentials, e-library, orientation; ABC/APAAR ID created; time-table & exam schedule shared.

Term-end exams are online (remote-proctored) for online-mode universities; ODL may have centre-based exams. Internal assessment 30% / TEE 70% is common.

- Intake
Two intakes per year for most universities – January & July. July-2026 intake deadlines mostly Aug–Sep 2026 (check each university).

How long you get to finish: UG degree: min 3 yrs / max 6 yrs. PG degree: min 2 yrs / max 4 yrs. Diploma: 1 yr / max 2 yrs. Certificate: 6 months / max 1 yr. Learners can complete at their own pace within the max window.
